PRAYERS OF THE WEEK:
For Our Students

This week we continued with our series on the Armor of God, focusing on the Shield of Faith. The shield is to be our first line of defense against the enemies attacks - if we trust in the power that it holds. We challenged the students with this question, "what's your faith in?". Pray as they ask that question they will trust in God. That they will hold up their shield and take that leap of faith.

For Our Ministry

Pray that students and leaders would depend on prayer for their direction, life, and purpose, that apart from Him we can do nothing. Pray we would boldly come to the throne of grace to seek God to do more then we could possibly ask or imagine. Pray that we would trust God is good, hears us, and responds.

PRAYER REQUESTS FROM OUR STUDENTS:

- That I may bring more friends to Thrive.

- Letting God have full control of my life, my whole heart. For God to give me the strength to forgive.

- Pray that I get along with my mom more.

- I can reconnect and grow stronger. Stay strong on new year new me and fight Satan every day! Guidance and courage towards choosing a college. That I would keep relying on God for emotional strength and appropriate mitigation.

- For my parents and their relationship, that I would love and respect people more, motivation to do well in school, replace my idols of games and other media with God. Focus my attention on God.

PRAYERS OF THE WEEK:
For Our Students

We continued on in our Armor of God series - this week focusing on The Shoes of the Gospel of Peace. Pray that our students see and know the importance of this part of the armor - that with strong, fitted shoes they may stand firm against the devils schemes. Pray for our students that are engaged in spiritual warfare, that they would be protected and comforted.

For Our Ministry

Pray that the light of the church and the heart of the family would continually come together to reach and raise the next generation in Christ Jesus.

PRAYER REQUESTS FROM OUR STUDENTS:

- More patience in my house, more selflessness, more humbleness.

- Please pray for me to be nicer to by younger brother.

- For my mom for strength and hope. For my dad for reconciliation. For my brother for wanting and craving Jesus. With homework and school and time management – to find more time for prayer and reading my Bible.

- Direction for the future. Better relationship with my dad and with God.

- Need to fully commit to Christ, discipline myself and read the Bible. Family issues and my heart issues. I want to be content with wherever I am at. I want God to lead my life but I feel like He’s absent. Pray for joy and less anxiety.

PRAYERS OF THE WEEK:
For Our Students
We just started a new series on the Armor of God. This week we covered the Breastplate of Righteousness. Pray that students begin trusting in God’s righteousness, and working towards living a righteous life. Living a righteous life allows us to worship God through our actions, and help others know him better. We so desperately want this for our students!

For Our Ministry

Pray that the light of the church and the heart of the family would continually come together to reach and raise the next generation in Christ Jesus.

PRAYER REQUESTS FROM OUR STUDENTS:

- Please just pray that I can find all my strength in Christ in this time.

- That my passion for Jesus will grow. That the funds for my upcoming missions trip will come in.

- I just hope that I continue this long stretch of no fights with grandma.

- I haven’t been feeling God around me and I’m not sure what to do. I just ask for others to pray with me in searching and finding God.

- Letting God have full control of my life, my whole heart. For God to give me the strength to forgive.

- I need guidance on how to properly connect with God. I want God to give me courage.
