Welcome! You have been invited to follow this blog by either a student or leader of Salem First Baptist's Student Ministries. We are so glad you are here! It has been on our heart to have God move through our students in a big way, and we know that the main way to get that done is by having a body of believers praying for us constantly. Our goal with this blog is to keep you informed and up-to-date on prayer requests we have within our ministry, whether they be from an individual student or from the group as a whole. We want to thank you for your willingness to pray for us and the work God is already doing within the lives of our students.

PRAYERS OF THE WEEK:
For Our Students

This week we started a new series called "Ask It" - this week we focused on what it looks like to make wise decisions. Pray as our students ask themselves "What's the wise thing to do?" that God would give them clear wisdom. Pray especially for our graduating seniors, as they make decisions about their future, that they would first consult God and His Word about their life choices. Pray that the people they seek wisdom from will direct them towards Jesus.

For Our Ministry
Pray that our students wouldn’t just come to Church, but own it, using their gifts, talents and influence to serve the kingdom. Pray that students would be bringing others into a life changing relationship with God and each other.

PRAYER REQUESTS FROM OUR STUDENTS:
- For my dad’s heart to be opened to the goodness of Christ.
- Being able to share the Gospel with Alyssa.
- That I would be able to reach out and do what God wants me to do.
- Pray that I can continue to accept Christ into my life. He feels so close but I know my doubts and lack of trust are keeping me from Him. Pray that I may trust Him and cast away my doubts. Also that I can lead others to God.
- That I can love myself through the pain and negativity. Trusting certain people. Closer relationship to God. Pray that the people who are with me never leave me.

STUDENTS IN OUR MINISTRY:
Please take a moment to pray for these students individually. Pray over their week, family life, friendships, and character.
