Welcome! You have been invited to follow this blog by either a student or leader of Salem First Baptist's Student Ministries. We are so glad you are here! It has been on our heart to have God move through our students in a big way, and we know that the main way to get that done is by having a body of believers praying for us constantly. Our goal with this blog is to keep you informed and up-to-date on prayer requests we have within our ministry, whether they be from an individual student or from the group as a whole. We want to thank you for your willingness to pray for us and the work God is already doing within the lives of our students.

PRAYERS OF THE WEEK:
For Our Students

This week we ended our series "Ask It" and we focused on making decisions. Our students were challenged to open their hands to God and choose Him for themselves, making their faith their own. Pray that as they wrestle with this decision, God would guide them. Pray that they seek out wisdom. Pray that as they continue to ask this question: In light of my past experience, current circumstances, and future hopes and dreams, what’s the wise thing for me to do? They will continue to surrender themselves to the Author of wisdom will determine what they will actually do.

For Our Ministry
Tomorrow Pastor Brian, Debbie Smith and a team of 7 students are headed to the Dominican Republic! Please pray for them as them - pray for safety, health, that all their luggage meets them there, that God will go before them and prepare the hearts of the kids who they will be reaching through VBS, and pray for unity for the team. Pray that their relationships with the Lord will grow and be challenged and that God will reveal Himself to them in mighty ways. They will be gone June 18th-28th!

PRAYER REQUESTS FROM OUR STUDENTS:
- Help with my words. Help with sin and attitude.
- Growing more in Christ. Things with my mom continue to go well. Relationships continue to have God first so it can work out well.
- I would like to pray for a better relationship with God and live my life for God.
- I feel like I know of Jesus, but I don’t know Him.

STUDENTS IN OUR MINISTRY:
Please take a moment to pray for these students individually. Pray over their week, family life, friendships, and character.
