Welcome! You have been invited to follow this blog by either a student or leader of Salem First Baptist's Student Ministries. We are so glad you are here! It has been on our heart to have God move through our students in a big way, and we know that the main way to get that done is by having a body of believers praying for us constantly. Our goal with this blog is to keep you informed and up-to-date on prayer requests we have within our ministry, whether they be from an individual student or from the group as a whole. We want to thank you for your willingness to pray for us and the work God is already doing within the lives of our students.

PRAYERS OF THE WEEK:
For Our Students

This week we ended our series "Tough as Nails" -  Pray that as students see how fearless Jesus was that they would be challenged and find courage to act fearless as well; in their families, in their schools, and in their communities. Pray that when God lays something on their heart, they would act boldly. Pray they see that Jesus isn’t finished changing the world. That He is calling on each one of them to follow him.

For Our Ministry
Pray that the Gospel is proclaimed boldly, clearly, and often. Pray that the good news of God’s grace would be received and trusted. Pray for revival to come to Fusion and Thrive.

PRAYER REQUESTS FROM OUR STUDENTS:
- For school to go well. For sports to go well. To help me put Jesus first.
- To make new friends at my new school and get good grades.
- Excellence in school work. Closer relationship with God.
- My family and myself have been through a lot of emotional hurt for years but it’s really been staring to hit me now. I would ask for prayer against my own bitterness and judgement and also for healing.
- Help with stress and time management with my job and school.
- My mom got custody and temporary visitation rights. Pray that my mom gets full visitation, not just temporary.

STUDENTS IN OUR MINISTRY:
Please take a moment to pray for these students individually. Pray over their week, family life, friendships, and character.
