Welcome! You have been invited to follow this blog by either a student or leader of Salem First Baptist's Student Ministries. We are so glad you are here! It has been on our heart to have God move through our students in a big way, and we know that the main way to get that done is by having a body of believers praying for us constantly. Our goal with this blog is to keep you informed and up-to-date on prayer requests we have within our ministry, whether they be from an individual student or from the group as a whole. We want to thank you for your willingness to pray for us and the work God is already doing within the lives of our students.

PRAYERS OF THE WEEK:
For Our Students
This last week we talked about forgiveness. A lot of our students have been hurt or wronged by someone close to them, whether it be a parent leaving, a friend talking behind their back, rumors spread, some type of abuse etc... They have seen the effects of sin in this world, and feel the burden of that in their hearts.

Pray that our students know the value of forgiveness.  That they would let God soften their hearts towards those who have hurt them, and imitate Christ and forgive. That they would allow Christ to release those burdens. That God would begin to heal those past hurts in their lives.

For Our Ministry

Pray that our ministry would be saturated in prayer, that more would see the need for prayer in our students lives. Pray for those who have yet to subscribe to this blog. Pray that we would trust God and feel His movement through our ministry.

PRAYER REQUESTS FROM OUR STUDENTS:

- Pray for me as I prepare to give my testimony at Thrive this week.
- I pray for peace and strength, that God would heal my heart and my mind. For understanding and wisdom.
- Better relationship with my dad. Perseverance, discipline, and courage. Grow into a man after God’s own heart.
- Financial stability. Family stability. Patience with my family.
-  for my friends to come to Thrive.

STUDENTS IN OUR MINISTRY:
Please take a moment to pray for these students individually. Pray over their week, family life, friendships, and character.
