For Our Students
This week we continued in our series "The Bible Doesn't Say That" and we focused on the phrase "Obedience always leads to financial blessings". There are some individuals and groups who believe that putting faith in Christ entails automatic financial blessings and favor. Their picture of an obedient, Christian life is one full of wealth, happiness, and relative ease. This simply, isn’t true. Knowing this reality, pray that our students fear and doubt is abolished by this hope; the hope that we can find joy in both blessing and suffering. Pray that they can see they can handle anything in Christ's power.
For Our Ministry
Pray that our students and leaders would experience the joy of Christ as they worship Him in word and deed. Pray that with thanksgiving in our hearts we would reflect Jesus in all we say and do.
PRAYER REQUESTS FROM OUR STUDENTS:
- Pray for my family, that there would be no divorce.
-
Pray for forgiveness within my family. Pray for my
relationship with Christ.
-
Pray for my uncle, that he will be safe and for my cousin to
know God.
-I’m stressing out over life, jealousy eating at me. My mom
is overworked. My dad may get a new job next year. Praise – I passed my permit
test!
STUDENTS IN OUR MINISTRY:
Please take a moment to pray for these students individually. Pray over their week, family life, friendships, and character.
